Who we are
Studio Gravida is a trade name of Girls with Printers B.V., registered in Haarlem, the Netherlands, KvK 84365390, VAT NL863184716B01. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach our privacy team at hello@studiogravida.com.
What we collect
From the booking flow
- Name, email address, phone number — to deliver and communicate about your kit.
- Shipping address — to send the kit and the finished sculpture.
- Reserved week — to plan our calendar.
- Optional notes you write to us — only the content you choose to share.
From the scan
- The 3D scan file itself — used to make your sculpture.
- Pregnancy week (optional) — to advise on size and proportions in the preview.
From payment
- Your payment is handled by Mollie. We see whether the payment succeeded and a reference, but we never see or store your card or bank details.
From your visit to this site
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, page visited) — held for security and short-term troubleshooting.
- Anonymous analytics on which pages are read most. We do not track you across other websites.
Why we hold it
- To make your sculpture. The scan and your delivery details are necessary to fulfil the contract you entered with us at booking.
- To stay in touch about your order. Email and phone are used to confirm the booking, send the digital preview, and coordinate delivery.
- To meet our legal obligations. Invoices and tax records are kept for seven years as required by Dutch law.
- To improve the work. We may use anonymised information about how mothers find the kit, which scan-week works best, etc. — never with names attached.
How long we keep it
- Your scan: stored privately for one year after your booking, in case you decide to order another sculpture. After one year, the scan is permanently deleted unless you ask us to keep it.
- Your contact details and order history: kept for as long as we have an active relationship, plus seven years for tax and accounting records as required by Dutch law.
- Server logs and anonymous analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of trusted services to run our work. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and only handles the information needed for their specific role.
- Vercel — hosts this website and the booking system, stores the database in the EU.
- Mollie — processes the deposit and any sculpture payments.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (booking confirmation, preview links, shipping updates).
- PostNL and partner couriers — handles the physical shipping of the kit and sculpture.
Where your data lives
Our database and scan storage are hosted within the European Union (Frankfurt and Amsterdam). We do not transfer your data outside the EU/EEA without contractual safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data — except where we are required to keep it (for example, invoices for tax purposes).
- Ask us to limit how we use your data, or to object to specific uses.
- Receive your data in a portable format if you want to take it elsewhere.

If you have a complaint
We hope you will write to us first. If we cannot resolve it together, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (session, language preference) and one anonymous analytics cookie. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. A separate cookie banner explains each one and gives you the choice to accept or decline.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and notify you by email if you have an active booking with us.
