Terms of Service

The agreement, in plain words.

When you reserve a kit or order a sculpture, you enter an agreement with Studio Gravida. These terms explain what we promise, what we ask of you, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated: 25 April 2026

1. Who we are

Studio Gravida is a trade name of Girls with Printers B.V., registered in Haarlem, the Netherlands, KvK 84365390, VAT NL863184716B01. In these terms “we”, “us”, and “Studio Gravida” mean this company.

2. What this agreement covers

These terms apply when you:

By completing the booking flow at studiogravida.com, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

3. The DIY scan kit — rental, not sale

The scan kit is rented to you for a single weekend (Wednesday delivery through Monday return). Title to the scanner and accessories remains with us at all times.

You agree to:

4. The deposit

We hold a €200 deposit at booking via Mollie. Once the kit is back with us in good condition, you choose:

If the kit is returned damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear, we may retain part or all of the deposit to cover repair or replacement. If the kit is not returned at all by the Friday after your reserved week, we charge the deposit in full.

5. The sculpture — made to order

Sculptures and jewelry are made individually from your personal scan. They cannot be resold, returned to stock, or reused for another customer. Production typically takes three to eight weeks depending on the chosen finish.

We send you a digital preview before any sculpture is cast or printed. Production only begins once you confirm. Pricing is shown at booking and includes EU shipping; optional extras (additional arms, weighted base, custom positioning) are priced and confirmed during the order flow.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods. Because each sculpture is shaped individually from your scan, this exception applies once you have confirmed production through the digital preview step.

Before that point — between booking and confirmation of the preview — you may withdraw at any time and receive a full refund.

7. Faulty work

If a sculpture is delivered damaged in transit, photograph the package and the piece on receipt and contact us within 48 hours; we arrange replacement at our cost. If a finishing fault appears within the first 12 months of normal indoor use, we will repair or remake the piece at no charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Our liability

Our liability in connection with the kit, the scan, or the sculpture is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order, except where Dutch law prohibits such limitation (for example, in cases of intent or gross negligence, or for personal injury).

9. Your privacy

We treat your scan and personal information with great care. The full details — what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights — are set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

10. Disputes

We hope to resolve any concern by writing to hello@studiogravida.com first. If we cannot, EU consumers can use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Dutch law applies, and the courts of Haarlem are competent for any dispute that cannot be resolved out of court — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms when our practice changes (for example, when we add a new service or work with a new courier). The date at the top will reflect the latest version. Any changes apply to bookings made after the update — earlier bookings keep the terms in force at the time you booked.
