About this piece

Resin finished by hand in wax and shadow until it carries the calm gravity of aged gold. Warm rather than bright, closer in feeling to a lit window than to jewellery. Available in 12, 15, 17, and 20 cm.

Each cast starts as your 3D scan, refined at the workbench in Haarlem, then finished stroke by stroke. The wax settles into the low points and lifts on the high ones, the way real gold does over years.
